GARY NEAT
Gary Neat is one of Australia's leading management and marketing figures. He was Chairman of the groundbreaking Australian Marketing Industry Review and later as National President of the Australian Institute of Management led AIM through the largest series of reforms in its 65-year history.
Gary was a founding Director of ADSHAN in 1994 and is now the group’s Chairman. He brings a unique perspective to the improvement of individual and organisational performance.
Gary holds a Masters Degree in Management and was awarded a Chevening Scholarship by the British Government to study at the London School of Economics. He's been a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, the Institute of Public Administration, the Australian Marketing Institute and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He’s won six Australian Marketing Excellence Awards and now writes and speaks worldwide on a range of strategic issues including organisational behaviour, executive coaching, education and strategic marketing. He’s also Australia’s former representative on Asia’s major business forum.
Gary Neat is also an author, former award winning journalist, editor and foreign correspondent.
He was a CEO for more than 20 years and has advised blue chip corporates, universities and government on strategy and performance. Gary is also a member of Victorian and Federal Government boards.
